Strike Shadow Warranty

As an authorized Strike Shadow dealer, every bike we sell is backed by the manufacturer's limited warranty (Throne Cycles / Strike Cycles). We help you handle any claim directly — no chasing an overseas seller.

Manufacturer policy effective: January 2025

This limited warranty covers Strike Shadow e-moto models (Shadow 48V, Shadow SX 60V, and Shadow SV2 72V) against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

It reflects the warranty terms set by the manufacturer, Throne Cycles / Strike Cycles. To keep things simple, you deal with us — we coordinate inspection, repair, and replacement on your behalf.

Coverage runs from the date of original retail purchase and applies to manufacturing defects only. Electrical components are covered against manufacturer defects, not against wear, water intrusion, or improper use.

02What isn't covered

This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear — tires, tubes, brake pads, grips, chain, bearings, and similar service items
  • Improper assembly, installation, or maintenance
  • Modifications or the use of non-approved parts or accessories
  • Accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect, jumping, stunt riding, or racing
  • Water damage to electronic components, unless the part is specified as IP-rated water resistant
  • Commercial, rental, or competition use
  • Cosmetic blemishes that appear after delivery

03Professional assembly is required

For your safety and to keep the warranty valid, every Strike Shadow e-moto must be assembled and inspected by a certified professional technician. This applies to all purchases, including bikes shipped directly to you, picked up from a dealer, or bought during a promotion or pre-order.

Who counts as a professional:

  • A licensed motorcycle technician
  • A certified e-moto or powersports mechanic
  • An authorized Throne / Strike / Strike Shadow dealer or service center
  • A reputable bike shop with mechanics trained in e-moto systems

Keep your proof:

You must retain a dated assembly invoice, a technician's work order, or a dealer build sheet confirming proper setup and inspection. Failure to provide proof of professional assembly voids the warranty. Self-assembly is not permitted unless performed by a qualified professional, because these bikes use high-voltage battery systems, high-output controllers, and precision torque hardware that are unsafe if assembled incorrectly.

04How to file a claim

Start your claim with us

Email sales@strikeshadowebikes.com with the following, and we'll take it from there:

• Your proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation showing the date)
• The bike's serial number
• Clear photos of the issue
• A short description of what's wrong
• Your proof of professional assembly

We'll review the claim with the manufacturer. Approved claims may be repaired or replaced with new or refurbished parts at the manufacturer's discretion, and replacement parts may differ slightly in color or style. Unless we tell you otherwise in writing, you're responsible for shipping costs to and from the service location.

05Regional coverage

This limited warranty applies to products purchased and used within the United States. For riders outside the US, coverage may vary by local distributor — contact us and we'll help you find the right regional support.

06Off-road use & liability

Strike Shadow e-motos are intended for off-road and private property use only, unless specified as street-legal under your local jurisdiction. They are not street-legal and are not designed for public roads, streets, or highways, or for areas requiring registration or motor-vehicle compliance. Using a bike in violation of local regulations may void warranty coverage.

Riders are responsible for safe operation and legal compliance. Neither the manufacturer nor this dealership is liable for incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use, citations, fines, impound or storage fees, or personal injury. This limited warranty is the sole warranty offered, and no dealer or distributor is authorized to modify or extend it.
